Recently we developed a program that makes it easy for employers of all sizes in DuPage County to hold their health fairs and to add educational workshops to their wellness programs. We are excited to report that these programs are not only filling a niche for the employer, but they allow employees from all over DuPage County to be exposed to wellness providers and information. Currently, there is no charge for our wellness programs.
Well@Work
We have partnered with 22 other healthy businesses in the area and provide health fairs for employers. All we need is a time and space! We even provide flyers, email lingo, etc for the employer to use in advertising the event. Each table is hosted by a professional, with professional materials, and also must provide a fun, interactive activity. Oftentimes we also provide a punch card and those that visit each table and get their cards signed can enter to win a healthy and fun prize!
Well@Work health fairs are usually held at organizations with over 50 team members and usually include 8-12 vendors. We also provide these to non-profit organizations.
Learn@Lunch
Several of our partners also give some of their time to teach a class on a healthy topic at a place of employment. Employees LOVE the option to grab their lunch and then join us to learn about a topic that interests them. Some topics include: Living Gluten-Free, iPosture, Hearing Loss and the Effects on Your Health, Ergonomics, Alternatives to Everyday Chemicals, Financial Wellness, Planning for Retirement, Holistic Remedies for Common Maladies, the Bulletproof Diet, Understanding Vein Disease, and much more! Employers choose the topics that they want presented and then we work with them to schedule. The Learn@Lunch program is open to any sized employer or organization.
In addition to these programs, West Suburban Wellness also provides stress-free massage breaks, where we come and provide free chair massages for those working or at an event. It’s our way of giving back!
